One of ERIGrid’s goals is to develop a holistic and integrated approach for analysing and evaluating the complex system of the smart grid. In order to address the gaps in smart grid testing and evaluation approaches, ERIGrid is first identifying and analysing approaches already developed and applied in current smart grids research projects. These research projects and initiatives will also be involved in validating ERIGrid’s holistic approach in their various applications. Thus ERIGrid set a goal to create synergies with existing R&D activities and established partnerships on both national and international level.
