At the Austrian edition of the European Researchers’ Night, ERIGrid will provide an overview of trends and research activities in the domain of smart grids.
The European Researchers’ Night (ERN) is an annual event that takes place simultaneously in several hundred cities all over Europe and beyond. The key objective of the event is to motivate and inspire youth to enjoy, understand and pursue science and technology by connecting them with outstanding scientists and innovations. beSCIENCEd is Austria’s contribution to this event, hosted by the Practical Robotics Institute Austria in partnership with the Vienna Institute of Technology (TGM).
Taking place on 29 September 2017 in Vienna (AT), this event gives youths and adults the opportunity to get an insight into what it is like to be a researcher and what kind of cutting-edge technology is used in modern research.
ERIGrid contributes to beSCIENCEd with a science booth on smart grids providing an overview of trends and research activities in the domain of smart grids and also representing partner project ELECTRA IRP.
The programme of the event will include various engaging activities ranging from interdisciplinary science booths, workshops, and the dedicated EU corner to science slam sessions and science cafes.
