On 28-29 October 2019, ERIGrid organised a joint workshop “Smart Grid Laboratory Developments” together with the Centre for Intelligent Electricity Distribution (CINELDI) and SINTEF. Held at the premises of SINTEF in Trondheim (NO), the workshop facilitated knowledge and experience exchange on smart grid laboratory activities with a special focus on co-simulation and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation and dissemination of results from ERIGrid Joint Research Activities.
Having attracted over 30 researchers and professionals in the fields of power systems and smart grids, the speakers held a number of hands-on presentations on co-simulation and HIL simulation and performed demonstrations in the National Smart Grid Laboratory of SINTEF. Each session concluded with discussion panels where the participants exchanged opinions and were able to share their own experience with the speakers.
Below you can find the presentations held at the workshop.
- CINELDI – Introduction to the ERIGrid Workshop – Henning Taxt (SINTEF)
- About the ERIGrid Project – Thomas I. Strasser (AIT)
- Introducing Co-simulation Concept and Platforms – Arjen van der Meer (Delft University of Technology)
- Integration of HIL to Co-simulation – Juan Montoya (Fraunhofer IEE)
